ISLAMABAD: Frontier Works Organizations (F.W.O) took yet another step towards commuters’ facilitation with the launch of toll-to-toll Motorway insurance, a first of its kind initiative in Pakistan.
All M-2 commuters can now enjoy an insured journey on M-2 Motorway. At first stage, insurance will be offered to passengers and vehicles against partial damage, total loss of vehicle, injury due to accident and death due to accident.
Crescent Star Insurance Limited will provide vehicle Insurance services, accidental life insurance will be provided by Adamjee life Insurance Company Ltd, whereas Asia Care will provide health Insurance respectively. The service can be obtained easily by purchasing an insurance ticket from the toll booth, which will be valid from M-2 entry till M-2 exit and will expire within 24 hours.
All commuters entering the motorway in vehicles and meeting the age requirement will be covered. The launch and inauguration ceremony was held at Islamabad Toll Plaza. FWO Director General Major General Muhammad Afzal, Crescent Star Insurance Limited CEO Naim Anwar, Adamjee Life Insurance CEO Fredrick De-Beer, and Asia Care CEO Mehdi Kazmi amongst other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
This unique initiative is being appreciated by the civil society and the government and is a testament of F.W.O’s quest to provide the public with unmatched services in the region through projects that add value to the lives of the public at large.
