NAIM ANWAR - Managing Director & CEO
Mr. Naim has been associated with the corporate world for more than 30 years out of which 24 years have been in senior positions in the insurance industry having a vast experience in the fields of Sales & Operations, Re Insurance, Underwriting & Claims and Risk Management. He started his career in sales working up the ladder to the position of Executive Director at Adamjee Insurance Ltd, and Deputy Managing Director PICIC Insurance Ltd. He is a member of the Executive Committee of Insurance Association of Pakistan (IAP). He has an ACCA background and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Government College of Commerce and Economics, Karachi. He is a Certified Director from Institute of Cost & Management Accountants (ICMA) of Pakistan.
Mr. Tanveer has more than 30 years of experience at Senior Level Management positions. He has been associated with Textile Spinning, Knitting and Dying Units. The companies he had been associated with supplied to some of the best global brands like Levi’s, Chaps, and Wal-Mart. His area of expertise involved procurement procedures, quality requirements, and compliance requirements for some of the leading buying houses. He has an extensive experience of handling production, Sales, Banking, Accounts, and CBA Unions in addition to his vast knowledge of corporate affairs including litigation / compliance.
Mr. Suhail holds more than 30 years business experience at different senior levels. He had been associated with different Textile and Leather Units as Director Marketing and Exports, where he had been handling and managing local and international business and running of the Mills.
NAVEEDA MAHMUD *
Ms. Naveeda Mahmud is a senior HR professional with a diversified experience of more than 35 years in the areas of Marketing, Human Resource Management, Training and Organizational Development. She is a qualified MBA professional from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi. She has worked for the national airline PIA for 12 years in marketing research, planning, commercial agreements and management training. In 2004 she joined DHL (Pakistan) Pvt. Ltd as National Manager HR, where she managed all HR functions in line with company business strategies. She joined PPL in 2007 and retired in November 2018 as Senior Manager Training & Development. From Dec 2018 to Sept 2019 she worked as Deputy Executive Director with Pakistan Insurance Institute which is the premier organization for imparting insurance related education and training to insurance professionals.
Mr. Sarocsh Ahmed is an MBA degree professional from IoBM and is a banker turned entrepreneur with track record of consistently delivering results working for small to large size organizations in advertising, technology and banking sectors. He started his career working as Banker and after some time shifted his career to be an entrepreneur and became Co-founder and CEO of Symmetry Group.
SHAIKH WAQAR AHMED
Mr. Shaikh Waqar Ahmed is a seasoned professional with over 34 years of experience in the corporate sector with local and foreign multinationals in IT, Petroleum, Consumer Durables and Port & Shipping sectors. He has rich experience in Sales, Customer Services, Human Resources and Organization Development. In 1993 he attended the Management Development Program at University of Houston, USA on USAID scholarship. He is also a certified Trainer of Trainers. He retired from Pakistan Petroleum Limited in 2017 and now is a valuable advisor to corporate sector in line with his vast experience.
Mr. Rashid Malik holds more than 31 years of marketing and business experience. He had been associated with different food chains and restaurant equipment as Marketing Head and Owner, where he had been handling and managing local and international business.
HUMA JAVAID *
Ms. Huma Javaid is a Senior HR professional with over 15 years of experience covering various facets of HR, She continues to offer advice to C-level leadership on decisions impacting human capital. She has worked closely in different Company’s to pursue key HR agenda items with board of directors ensuring a vibrant and health organizational culture that is focused on its most valuable assets i.e. its people. She is currently working at Martin Dow Ltd as Head of Human Resource, Commercial and continues her work in the field.
